SYNOPSIS
Lily Mars, une jeune fille
talentueuse d’une petite ville, harcèle le producteur John Thornway pour un
rôle dans sa nouvelle pièce, mais il ne veut rien avoir à faire avec des
amateurs frappés par la scène. Mais lorsque Lily le suit à New York, il
apprend à mieux la connaître et son opinion sur elle change pour le mieux.
Puis, lorsque l’actrice principale de la pièce s’en va, Lily fait sa grande
percée à Broadway.
