SYNOPSIS

Alexander Graham Bell tombe amoureux de Mabel Hubbard, une fille sourde, alors qu’il enseignait aux sourds et essayait d’inventer des moyens de télégraphier la voix humaine. Elle l’exhorte à repousser ses pensées de mariage jusqu’à ce que ses expériences soient terminées. Il invente le téléphone, se marie et devient riche et célèbre, bien que son bonheur soit menacé lorsqu’une entreprise rivale entreprend de le ruiner.
